Immediately after an accident (you should get the details of any other drivers involved) call the Idac hotline to find the nearest Idac.

If your vehicle is immobilised or unsafe to drive, the hotline operator will arrange a tow-truck to collect the vehicle. Both you and your vehicle need to go to the Idac.

The Idac staff will inspect the damage to your vehicle and help you to fill up an online accident report and claim form.

The final step is to confirm with your insurer where the vehicle should go for the repair.

Important:
If you, or others involved in a motor accident are injured, phone the police and do not attempt to move the vehicles. Have your vehicle taken to an Idac only after the police have cleared the accident scene.
