Insurance Broker
The Insurance Broker is an independent consultant who advises clients (who may be a business entity or an individual) on the best method to handle events that can cause hardship to them through an insurance program.

Insurance Agent
The Insurance Agent acts as a link between the insurance company and the public by selling the company's products, and providing clients with after-sales service. Unlike like the Insurance Broker who represents the insured, the Agent represents the insurance company.

Loss Adjuster
A Loss Adjuster is an impartial claims specialist who is usually appointed by an insurance company to examine a loss. His role is to ascertain the amount of the loss and also to provide an opinion on the insurer's liability.
