ADMINISTRATION

The work of the Bureau is carried out by the Secretariat which has a modest number of permanent staff. They receive and process claim. Investigators do the investigation work for the Bureau. The decision making process takes place at meetings of the Council which has representatives from the leading motor insurers and the Government. There are nine Council members, six of them are insurers and three Government representatives. The authority to settle claims rests with the Council.
